Bugs on the Menu is a feature documentary about the Edible Insects movement as a strategy to manage future Food Security. The film company behind the documentary, 291 Film Company, wanted to raise awareness about the film to build hype around its release.
Using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, we have been actively engaging with people and sharing interesting content around the edible insect movement to build an online following. Each day, the social media following across all platforms grows with consistent interaction between the brand and fans.
We will continue to build an online following around the film with daily engagement and giveaways before the documentary’s release in early 2016.
